Criteria for the I Love That Lady candidates:
The ideal candidate for the I Love That Lady (ILTL) award is a woman who selflessly gives her time and energy to support humanitarian efforts that benefit our Eastern North Carolina community:
* The candidate cannot be a member of the ILTL committee or have served on the committee for the past two years.
* The candidate is not a paid or contracted employee of the program (s) that she supports.
* The winner of the ILTL award will be announced at the annual banquet and not before.
* Any candidate chosen as a recipient of any I Love That Lady award will identify the charity of her choice to receive the monetary award.
NOTE: Charities must be located and operate in Craven County to be eligible for the I Love That Lady award donation. All charities must qualify under the IRS Code Section 501(c)(3) and be in compliance with the state admissions. The committee of I Love That Lady must agree and approve all charities.

- A video recounting the chosen recipient will be created by interviewing her family, friends and colleagues.
- Entries may be submitted by email or through the ILTL website.
- Nominations must be received by 5p.m. on January 15, 2018.
* Any candidate chosen as a recipient of any I Love That Lady award will identify the charity of her choice to receive the monetary award.
